The coffee, has also a visual taste.
My name is Sergio González.
I am Austrian-Mexican and I studied Architecture in Mexico City.
I have lived in Austria for almost 20 years, during which I have worked for international design Architecture offices.
A few years ago I attended a Coffee Fair in Vienna where I found a stand of cups. I immediately had the idea to make my own design for a coffee mug.
The idea was simple. Integrate a coffee bean into the same cup that would have a logical function.
The road, however, was much longer than I thought because perfection is not reachable. It is only desired.
In the process, I learned plaster casting techniques to make molds to cast porcelain. The process continues with two bakes. The first to stabilize and make the mixture rigid called BISQUE at a temperature of 950 degrees, and the second with an intermediate step to which the color (GLAZE) is applied at a temperature of 1250 degrees.
The last step is laser engraving.
I present you the COFFEE MUG ECLIPSE, a perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries and/or special dates that can stop time in a personal product for daily use, or become an institutional gift for companies on important dates.
